Every wedding is special to me… to be given the responsibility of capturing someone’s day… a day which they’ve spent their lives dreaming of, and years saving for. When that wedding belongs to one of your lifelong best friends, it becomes extra special, and it was an absolute privilege to be there.
I had been to Chenies Manor many years before, but at the height of summer, when it had been so warm that the speeches were read outside on the grass at 9pm, still bathed in warm evening sun! Things were very different this time round, but the venue was as gorgeous as ever and with a brief break in the rain, we were able to tip-toe across the wet grass and make use of the old white pergola for some romantic couple shots just before we lost the light for good. Winter weddings are always a challenge with regard to day light, but we made the most of what we had and I hope you’ll enjoy the images as much as I do. Congrats buddy!!
