Set among ancient olive groves near the Adriatic coast, Torre Maizza provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration that was luxurious without ever feeling overly formal. From the preparations and ceremony through to dinner, dancing and a very lively evening, the emphasis was firmly on atmosphere, family and friends.

Having photographed more than 300 weddings in the UK and internationally, Italy remains one of my favourite places to work. Puglia has a character all of its own — beautiful masserias, warm evening light and an effortless sense of style that makes it an extraordinary destination for a wedding.
